Matthew J. Linn

Matthew J. Linn graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee (B.B.A. cum laude in Finance June 1999 and M.B.A. in Leadership and Technology May 2004), and the William Mitchell College of Law, in St. Paul, Minnesota (J.D. May 2007). At law school, Matt was recognized upon graduation for donating 50 or more legal hours to public service and was honored through the Minnesota Justice Foundation's Law School Public Service Program. His law school activities included participation in William Mitchell's nationally ranked clinic program where he represented non-profit entities and provided legal assistance to Minnesota prisoners. Matthew received the school's CALI Excellence for the Future Award and served as the LexisNexis Student Research Assistant.

Prior to enrolling in law school, Matthew was employed by the financial firm Thomson Reuters (FKA Thomson Financial), where he performed business analysis for system design and function of front-end and back office brokerage trading interfaces and their corresponding business applications. After law school, Matthew practiced as an attorney in Milwaukee, Wisconsin before moving to Phoenix, Arizona, in 2009. Matthew practices in the areas of bankruptcy, business law, estate planning and real estate. His real estate practice includes negotiated settlements, short sales and foreclosures.

Matthew's leisure time activities include traveling, as well as developing fluency in the Spanish language.
